yogacards

I just tried out these fun yoga cards from ThinkFun. I am always looking for ways to get my kids to be active at home. It’s winter time, they don’t always want to go outside when it’s super cold so I thought these yoga cards would be a fun way to keep moving on days it’s to cold to play outside. My six year old just did a unit on yoga in her school’s PE class so it was perfect. She already knew a lot of the moves. You get a deck of large cards. You have different poses on each card, they show the pose as well as say the name so you can clearly see what the pose consists of. They include goal cards that make it a fun game, your goal is to try to find poses that match the goal written out on the card. There is a help card too that gives you the list of cards that will meet the requirements for the goals. It’s a lot of fun. Even if you don’t play the goal version of the game it’s fun to just throw out some cards and do the moves as well. My six year old loves this deck of cards and plays with it all the time. Lots of fun!
