I tried out the coverplug paintable outlet covers this weekend.  I don’t know about you but I get really worried about outlets and my children.  There are so many outlets in our house that we don’t even use, ever.  It’s like they are just a little electrical danger trap waiting for them to discover.  I have purchased those little plastic outlet plugs before but those things are so unsightly.  So I am always looking for a new way to avoid the danger of outlets.  I was really happy when I found these paintable outlet covers!  You can paint the covers any color you want, they come in a beige color so it’s easy to cover them even if you don’t want to deal with primer.  Once they are painted you just insert the prongs into the outlet and it cover it’s completely!
